If you sneak Malign Intervention in there somewhere you get an easy to gank target that goes boom right in the middle of your foes.

Depends on if he is using an MM. Usually, [Putrid Explosion] is bad, as it takes away (potentially) two [Death Nova] explosions in the enemy's face.

Icy Veins is rubbish, you could probably do better substituting it for another elite.
Mind wrack? Useless in PvE. Cry of Pain is a one time nuke skill and is rather, meh. These bombing builds are rarely as effective as the myriad of other options available to you. |

I do remember saying "Snowman's Dungeon"? No I don't use this build for general PvE but when things are balled up the build works wonders.
@Grim, Putrid is quite hilarious when I don't have a MM |

Enemies balling up is quite common in general PvE.
However if it's specifically for the Snowman dungeon, Icy Veins is still terrible, what with it dealing cold damage. |
